101229: Responsibility for Providing Care and Supervision: (a) "The licensee shall provide care and supervision as necessary to meet the children's needs. (1) No child(ren) shall be left without the supervision of a teacher at any time... Supervision shall include visual observation." This requirement was not met as evidenced by: Based on interview and record review, the facility did not comply with the section cited above as facility self reported that there was a child left alone inside the classroom during outdoor play, which poses a potential health, safety or personal rights risk to persons in care.
(1) A licensed child day care center, as defined in Section 1596.76, that is located in a building that was constructed before January 1, 2010, shall have its drinking water tested for lead contamination levels on or after January 1, 2020, but no later than January 1, 2023, and every five years after the date of the initial test. This requirement is not met as evidenced by: Based on record review, the licensee did not comply with the section cited above as the facility tested after the deadline of January 1st, 2023. This posed a potential health, safety or personal rights risk to persons in care.
