Cords were accessible in room 009, 003, 002. These were made inaccesible immediately. An electrical cord was plugged into an extension cord in room 009. This is not a brief, temporary purpose. It is used because an outlet in this area is difficult to access. Plastic bags and gloves were accessible to children in diaper changing areas and bathrooms in various rooms. These were made inaccessible immediately. A power strip was accessible in one classroom, 003.
Fire exit door was blocked by children's furniture in room 010 and 002. These were made accessible immediately.
Sixteen staff did not have current First Aid and CPR training today. The Center arranged staff so that one person could be in each classroom with the training and closed classrooms as needed. First aid kits were accessible to children in room 010, 004 and Gym. They were made inaccessible immediately.
007, a storage room was unlocked today. It was locked immediately.
The bells on doors are not loud enough to be audible over the noise of the children in the classrooms, especially the gym.
Sixteen staff do not have current First Aid/CPR as of today's date. Their First Aid/CPR expired on 04/19/2024. Fardous, Kathryn, Andrew and Crystal do not have current Safe Sleep training. They were not working in the infant room today.
An Individual Care Plan has not been completed for a child with a life-threatening food allergy.
