Safety requirements

2a) small toys, items and debris were on the floor. A 15 month old child was in care at the time of this visit. 7/25/23 the floor was cleaned up immediately with these items removed. 2c) a jump rope was seen outside strung from the hot tub across the patio. Another jump rope was seen tied to the handle bars of a small bike. 7/25/23- the ropes have been removed 2d) a rolled up rug was seen with plastic wrap. It appeared to be a new rug. Part of the plastic had been pulled off, with loose plastic still attached. 7/25/23-The rolled up rug has been placed out on the floor, the plastic has been removed. 3g) the mat under the table is in poor condition as seen by the foam peeling or chunks removed. Books were seen ripped and torn. A purple plastic toy was broken (licensor handed the toy to provider). 7/25/23- the mat and materials have been removed. 4f) the gate at the stairs is not secure or sturdy. It is of the retractable mesh kind. The top latch was broken.

roach killing bate was seen stored under the kitchen sink, not locked or inaccessible to the children. 7/25/23-The roach killer has been removed.

children and staff attendance has not been documented for yesterday or today. The tablet broke which was used for the electronic attendance on Friday. 7/25/23- starting this afternoon, provider will have parents fill out attendance for yesterday and today on paper attendance and will use this method until the tablet is fixed.
