the Infant classroom had a broken lock on the cabinet under the diaper changing station. The Licensor observed extra diapers in plastic bags and cleanign supplies unlocked. The lock will be repaired.

Food allergies and special dietary needs

Individual Care Plans are in place for children but they do not identify foods that can substitute for allergenic foods. The Individual Health Plans for children with severe life threatening allergies have not been signed by health care providers. The provider argues that this is because most of the information is on the Everett Public Shools' Medication Order for Life-Threatening Allergy and this form is signed by the child's health care provider. Dispute Description: In the first sentence of this WAC (above) states that a written plan from the health care provider and parent or guardian is needed when a child has a known food allergy or special dietary need. We have the required documentation which was shown to Julia at the time of inspection. We have a form completed and provided by the health care provider, and a second form completed by the parent. The WAC DOES NOT state that the signatures of each party must be on the same form. Emergency preparation and exiting

Fire exits in Preschool 1 were partially blocked by a table and cots. Preschool 2 was blocked partially by a cot. This was corrected immediately.
