Staff person closed the gate, leaving the child alone on the playground with no other adult supervision.
Both staff persons report they were not standing near the climbing structure nor actively supervising the children when the child fell from the slide. Both staff persons were engaged in other activities, i.e. signing into the classroom and signing children out who had been picked up.
