During the inspection, this licensor observed a playground structure in the outdoor play space that did not comply with CPSC ground surfacing and safety fall zone guidelines. The to-fro swing attached to the structure did not have a safety fall zone that was a distance equal to twice the height of the top bar from which the swing is suspended. The sand, acceptable ground surfacing under ASTM F1292, measured 5.5 inches deep instead of the required nine inches. The structure was removed from the outdoor play space during the inspection.
