Citation was corrected on site - provider will not use this gate and will use supervision strategies to prevent children from entering unlicensed space until either a) adjusting the emergency exit pathway to use a different route through the dining room, b) installing quick release hardware that allows the gate to open immediately when necessary, or c) using a tension rod style child safety gate that is not drilled into the wall and can be knocked down easily in an emergency.”
