Safety requirements

2a) in the toddler classroom (#2), there were choking hazards seen set up on low shelves which would be accessible to children. 2b) the window shades have chain pull cords that are capable of forming a loop if they are removed from the tube on the windowsills. 2c) In the toddler classroom, ribbons were seen in a basket on a low shelf, accessible to children. In the preschool classroom, a cord for the speaker was seen plugged into the outlet, but accessible to children. Outside there were cords attached to the house that protruded from the exterior wall, forming loops. 2f) the sliding glass door does not have stickers or art work placed at child's eye level. 3a) sharp objects were observed outside: The corner to the shed, nails, staples, broken boards, splintering wood, down spout. 3e) The rug at the sink slips when stepped on. A faucet on the ground creates a tripping hazard. 3f) the individual cubby systems were not secured to the wall, creating a potential for tipping. 3g) outdoor wood was seen with chipping paint. broken pieces of plastic were seen in the sand box. 5a) Two outlets were seen in the toddler room not TR. 5b) The outlet at the prep sink was not TR but was GFCI type.
