All indoor and outdoor areas used by the children were not kept clean, orderly, and free of items which are potentially hazardous to children including removal of items a child can swallow; the removal of loose nails or screws and splinters on inside; and use of outdoor equipment that is too hot to touch. Walls, cabinets, trashcan, and refrigerator were not kept clean from spills and markings. The outdoor play area had two buckets of standing water and the grass hasn't been mowed.

In the outdoor environment, the grass was not cut to monitor for safety and hazardous. In the indoor environment, cabinets and walls displayed dirt and markings.

All medicines, including refrigerated and unrefrigerated, were not kept in locked storage. A bottle of liquid Tylenol was located on a shelf in the bathroom used by children. You locked the medication up during today's visit.

Corrosive agents, pesticides, bleaches, detergents, cleansers, polishes, and products under pressure in an aerosol dispenser and any substance that may be hazardous to a child if ingested, inhaled, or handled were not kept in locked storage when children were in care. An aerosol can of cooking spray was located in an unlocked cabinet in the kitchen. You placed the cooking spray in locked storage during today's visit.

The operator did not conduct a monthly fire drill. A fire drill was not completed for the month of July.
