(d) For a Large Family Child Care Home, the maximum number of children for whom care may be provided at any one time when there is an assistant provider in the home, including children under age 10 who reside at the licensee's home and the assistant provider's children under age 10, shall be either: (1) Twelve children, no more than four of whom may be infants; or This requirement is not met as evidenced by: Based on observation and record review, the licensee did not comply with the section cited above in there are 5 infants in the facility during inspecion which poses an immediate health, safety or personal rights risk to persons in care.

Every family day care home for children shall have one or more carbon monoxide detectors in the facility that meet the standards established in Chapter 8 (commencing with Section 13260) of Part 2 Division 12. The department shall account for the presence of these detectors during inspections. This requirement is not met as evidenced by: Based on observation, the licensee did not comply with the section cited above, the carbon monoxide is not working which poses/posed a potential health, safety or personal rights risk to persons in care.
(c) The licensee and other personnel as specified shall complete training on preventive health practices, including pediatric cardiopulmonary resuscitation and pediatric first aid, pursuant to Health and Safety Code Section 1596.866. This requirement is not met as evidenced by: Based on record review, the licensee did not comply with the section cited above. Licensee's CPR and first aid training expired in August, 2024 which poses/posed a potential health, safety or personal rights risk to persons in care.
(1) Commencing September 1, 2016, a person shall not be employed or volunteer at a family day care home if he or she has not been immunized against influenza, pertussis, and measles. Each employee and volunteer shall receive an influenza vaccination between August 1 and December 1 of each year.
