ALLEGATION(S): Licensee did not provide a safe environment resulting in a child sustaining a fracture while in care Licensee did not obtain medical attention for an injured child in a timely manner INVESTIGATION FINDINGS: On 03/20/2026 at 9:00am, Licensing Program Analyst (LPA) Christina Uribe conducted an unannounced Complaint Investigation Visit for the above allegation of a personal rights violation. LPA met with licensee, Jennifer Bareno. Also present at the time of today's visit is 4 fingerprint cleared assistants/residents of the home and 5 day care children. Licensee's adult son assisted with translation services. This agency has investigated the complaint allegation that the licensee did not provide a safe environment resulting in a child sustaining a fracture while in care. Although the allegation may have happened or is valid, there is not a preponderance of evidence to prove that the alleged violation did or did not occur, therefore the allegation is unsubstantiated.
