ALLEGATION(S): Facility does not have adequate staffing to care and supervise day care children. Staff did not communicate with authorized representatives in a timely manner. INVESTIGATION FINDINGS: On 3/16/2023 at 8:45AM., Licensing Program Analyst (LPA), Luis J. Gomez met with Director, Tiffany Teele. Purpose of inspection was explained and was for an unannounced, complaint investigation. Present was the director, one staff, nine parents supervising 13 children. Children present had been properly signed-in. LPA inspected facility with director for health and safety hazards. During today's inspection, LPA performed site observations, interviews with staff/ director, and reviewed facility records. During the course of the investigation, site observations were conducted on 3/16/2023. A review of the facility records was completed, which included the Staff Records; Sign-in Logs; Admission Agreement; and Parent Volunteer Schedule. 101700.3 California Lead Action Level at Child Care Centers (b)(1) A result with values of 5.5 ppb or greater shall be deemed an Action Level Exceedance. This requirement was not met as evidenced by: Based on results received from the certified water samplers, the facility exceeded 5.5 ppb of lead in their water source. Once recieved, the facility took immediate and proper actions to remediate the fixtures. This poses a potential health, safety, or personal rights risk to persons in care.
