This was corrected at the time of the inspection when all caregivers were observed supervising in compliance with minimum standards. The director stated the caregiver was terminated. The director stated that retraining in supervision would be provided during the next staff meeting.

This standard was evaluated during the investigation and found out of compliance. A caregiver used an inappropriate tone of voice when talking with children. This was corrected at the time of inspection when the caregiver was observed disciplining in compliance with minimum standards. The assistant director stated the caregiver will be re-trained on discipline and classroom management. The caregiver was also formally counseled regarding appropriate tone of voice and discipline.
