During the inspection, 3 children were allowed to enter the building from the playground to use the bathroom, unsupervised. The caregiver remained outside with the rest of the group and was unable to see or hear the children.
During the inspection, when asked how many children were in care, the caregiver said there were 21 children when there were 19. After being asked to conduct a name to face, the correct number of children was recorded. Also, when a group was coming inside from the playground, the caregiver said she had 9 children when 13 children had been in her care.
After coming in from outside, children who did not wish to use the bathroom were allowed to go back into the cafeteria and did not wash their hands.
The operation does not have a designated site director.
