Daily outdoor time is a required part of the schedule; limited to 15 minutes in a shaded, misted area when heat index is 101-105°F (or temp 35-40°F); outdoor time is cancelled entirely when heat index exceeds 105°F (or temp is under 35°F).

Child excluded from school for oral/ear/armpit temperature above 100°F with behavior changes or other symptoms, or signs of possible severe illness; a detailed Health and Wellness Reference Chart sets return criteria per illness (e.g., most fevers must be resolved 24 hours without medication).
Biting
Both parents receive a signed Incident Report for a biting or hitting incident; persistent behavior triggers a Positive Behavior Plan or referral to outside resources; behavior endangering other students results in dismissal.
