Out of eight staff files reviewed, six staff was missing proof of emergency preparedness training, six staff were missing proof of administering medication training, two staff were missing proof of food allergy training, one staff was missing proof of building safety training, and three staff were missing proof of hazardous material training. The director stated that four staff have training certificates arriving in the mail for some of those topics.
The first aid kit contained expired items. This was corrected at inspection when the director threw the expired items away.
Two of four staff were lacking the annual training hours required for the previous training year. The complete 24 hours of required annual training for the current year was reviewed and the deficiency was brought into compliance during the inspection.
Out of eight personnel files reviewed one individual did not have up to date CPR & First Aid certification.
Three out of eight children's files reviewed were missing immunization records.
