During a DFPS investigation, it was found that a caregiver grabbed a child by their wrist to help the child out from under a table which cause the child to receive a nursemaid's elbow.
Observed an infant under 6 months old laying on the floor taking a bottle. I explained to the caregivers that infants 6 months and younger must be held while feeding.
One classrooms stated that they had 9 children and then corrected themselves and said they had 8 children. The licening Rep counted the children and there were 10 children in the classroom. I explained that they should know how many children that they have in care at all times.
Observed one outlet cover that was broken in one of the classrooms. Also observed was a plastic slide that was broken. This was corrected when the slide was taken off the playground.
Observed one infant sleeping in a bouncy seat. This was corrected when the infant was removed from the seat.
