This standard was reviewed in relation to the reported allegations and found to be deficient. There was sufficient evidence to support that a caregiver was using inappropriate language with children when speaking to two different children at two different times. A second caregiver was found to be using inappropriate comments about a child with another caregiver in front of other children that could be overheard. The comments that were overheard were insensitive and degrading.
